The measurement taken without a tape

A tailor receives a customer with neither a garment nor his measurements. He will not let her measure him, but gives her a strip of paper. She can still cut the fabric to the required length.
- Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
- Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
- When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
