The Horizontal Ladder

During a fire someone is already inside a warehouse on the ledge beside a window. A gap in the floor separates them from the exit. A worker moves the ladder away from the window and lays it horizontally with its ends on the two sound sections of floor.

1. Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
2. Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
3. When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
