A digital clock shows 5 when it is 6 and 9 when it is 8. The minutes are always correct and the fault is unchanged between observations. A technician does not reset the time; replacing a small part of the display removes the problem.
- Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
- Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
