The Bent Track

A model railway track is tightly fixed at both ends. Heating makes it curve in the middle although nobody has pulled it and no material is missing. The builder frees one end; the track straightens and projects a little beyond its old mark.
- Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
- Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
- When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
