The Missing Batteries

After a fatal fire valuables remain untouched, but every detector lacks its battery. An earlier recording shows a visitor removing them while the occupants sleep; shortly afterwards the same visitor returns with a fuel can.

1. Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
2. Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
3. When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
