The Delayed Alarm

After a murder the alarm goes off when the suspect is already at a golf course. Nobody has re-entered. Police find a tilted tray, pans on the floor and water beneath the table. One half of the tray has drainage holes; the other does not.
- Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
- Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
- When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
