A woman killed by a gunshot is found in the front seat of a car. The gun is on the rear seat, beyond her reach. The doors and windows are closed; no glass is pierced and the bodywork has no bullet holes.

The answer
It was a convertible with its roof down. Closed doors and windows did not close the passenger compartment from above. The killer fired through the opening and tossed the gun onto the back seat without firing through or breaking any glass.
