The Slowest Race

Two riders keep slowing down in a race, and neither wants to reach the finish. A spectator says a few words. They dismount, get back into the saddles and immediately race at full speed. The rules have not changed.
- Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
- Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
- When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
