The Eighth Slice

Eight guests must receive equal portions of a cylindrical cake with no decorations. The baker may make only three straight cuts without moving pieces between cuts. After the third cut there are eight separate pieces, all of equal volume.
- Choose a narrator: they read the answer privately and hide it.
- Read the premise aloud. Answers: yes, no or irrelevant.
- When the game ends, mark the puzzle as played.
