A Piece of Cake

A woman goes grocery shopping for a party, comes home and puts all her groceries on the dining table. While she isn't looking, her four year old son sees a cake that his mother bought on the table, opens the wrapper and promptly eats some of the cake just when his mother notices what he is doing. Instead of getting angry at her son for eating a cake meant for a party, she panics and rushes him off to a hospital. Fortunately, the doctors inform her that her son will be fine. Why did she panic when there was nothing wrong with the cake, and she meant it to be for her party guests?

One player reads the premise and knows the answer. Everyone else asks yes/no questions until they reconstruct what happened.
