A truck driver reported to his office that his truck had broken down. A tow truck was sent out to tow the disabled truck. When they arrived, the truck that had broken down was towing the tow truck. Why?

The answer
It`d broken down because its brakes had completely failed. The truck driver drove back towing the recovery vehicle. When he needed to slow, he signalled with his hand and the recovery truck driver applied his brakes,thereby slowing both vehicles.
